Friday 10th March 2023- Graduation Day Campus Information

Friday 10th March will be the 41st Graduation Day of Divine Word University. We wish everyone well on this day and congratulate all our graduands on their personal achievement.

To make this day successful, we seek the support of the DWU community and everyone attending to note this information and observe the following guidelines.

DWU Entry and Exit Gate- Only the front main gate will be opened for staff, students, graduands, guests & others using ID cards & special passes. Please note that the back gate will remain closed until 1pm and those in vehicles entering the main gate and needing parking space will be directed to designated spots.

DWU Graduands and guests who are here for graduation:
  • Enter through main gate only
  • Show ID card/pass
  • Graduands should proceed to the JP Hall and those preferring to watch the live streamed event proceed to SVDMA/SPBA.
DWU Staff Residential areas- will be out of bounds for students & unnecessary people movement
Student Residential halls/dormitories- will be out of bounds for non residential students and external visitors.
Diwai Mart- will be closed during the graduation event and only open at 1:00pm.
Care of Property- All DWU staff and students are encouraged to ensure that your personal belongings are safe and secured at the dormitories or houses.
Staff with vehicles residing at main campus may leave their vehicles parked at home for safety and security purposes.
Staff & Student Marshals with identifiable vests or other such wear will be available to assist people movement on this day.
Keep our campus clean- please do not spit betel nut on the pavements, flower beds, lawns & other places. Smoking and chewing on campus are strongly discouraged and offenders may be asked to leave the campus grounds if caught.
