Description

This unit equips students with the knowledge and skills in the construction and interpretation of accounting information. The unit consists of an introduction to accounting and its general concepts and processes. Students will not be expected to have previous experience in the study of accounting in order to complete the course. The unit will equip students will be a basic understanding of accounting, and demonstrate the accounting process and the use of accounting information in decision-making. Further, the unit will equip students with the understanding of the role that accounting information plays in the success of any business.
